Drive Alone – Acoustic Version /// Carson Ferris

Provo-based singer-songwriter, Carson Ferris, released his latest track, “Drive Alone – Acoustic Version,” on January 20th. This fantastic tune has been said to be that of the companion release of the single under the same name just a week prior and is also the follow-up of a track that he released in 2021 called “Can’t Be Without You,” which featured Phoenix-based rapper, Trinidad Cardona.

The acoustic version of “Drive Alone” was able to have a rhythmic introduction with an instrumentation that is compelling and exciting. With strong, confident vocals from Carson himself, the guitar and other instruments involved have been able to set the tone for the track, creating a sound that is melodic and tuneful. As the track continues to progress throughout, Carson is able to give a glimpse into what he has to offer as he shares his music with his intended audience and, of course, with those who want to continue to find new artists, listening to the music that they have been able to share with the rest of the world.

Speaking of “Drive Alone,” having to have written it with artist and producer, Michael Van Wagoner, who also went by MYKYL, and LA-based songwriter, Jasmine Crowe, it has been shared that this single is about Carson “finding his own path, and making the decisions that will get him where he wants to go,” as well as the song itself being about his own journey in music.

If you’re looking for an artist that provides lyrics that are inspirational, then Carson Ferris is your go-to artist. The acoustic version of “Drive Alone” seems like a real promise as the track provides lyrics that are meaningful and are able to make listeners relate to wanting to follow their own dreams.
