Making waves for their work in front of an audience as well as their studio, Athens-based EDM act One of Vas has been earning the adoration of fans worldwide since they emerged on the scene a few short years ago. The solo project of producer, composer, and vocalist Vasilis Tsavdaridis, their music reflects a feeling of pensive tranquility as well as an energizing composition with every track they debut. Their latest release proves a defining milestone for the tenured artist as they take listeners of a journey through their latest eight-track album, MIGMA.
From the first moments of this album, we feel the artist’s creative inspiration in every note. The opening track, Get Warm, pulls us in with an ominous and flowing introduction that builds suspense and invites curiosity to the artist’s stylistic proclivities. An eclectic collection, the album strikes an incredible balance of tempos with its blend. Singles such as the already acclaimed standout, Low Key, feature an atmospheric anthem that sets the tone for the record’s commitment to fostering enormous emotionality through its unique composition and distinctively unique tonality. Juxtaposed with ballads including Blooming, which feature a more narratively-motivated and somber tone that receive as vulnerable representations of how much of the artist’s soul they pour into their work.
