Electric Blue by Kirsten Izer and 4 More Emotional Singles From April 2025

A lot of music has come out this month, April 2025. Kirsten Izer released her new track ‘Electric Blue’ today, April 18, 2025. It follows along the lines of emotionally loaded new releases, which can be found through the other four tracks shared in this round-up.

Kirsten Izer – Electric Blue

‘Electric Blue’ hits melancholy ballad with somber fingerpicking and a crackling sound that’s almost like rain on the windowsill. When the percussion cuts in, the music starts to fill out, introducing a buzzy bass and ethereal synths, all beautifully mixed, and things continue to rise from there. This track is for anyone who likes a melancholic slow build. Lyrically, it has the tones of a post-breakup song, but it looks into the past and seems to capture a relationship between two people in pain.

Alessiah – made you cry

‘made you cry’ keeps the emotional tone of the last track, but it provides a glitchy soundscape with dynamic vocal filtering, buzzy bass, bright chimney synths, and trap-influenced drums. This track serves dynamics to a beautiful extent, the sections flowing with new sounds around every corner. The vocals here weave in smooth softness and punchy rhythm into a track that keeps itself cohesive despite its dynamics. The lyrics explore the dichotomy of loving someone while also pushing them away.

Dr. GO – Soft touch

‘Soft touch’ hits the futuristic outer space tones that Dr. GO provides in his music. However, it does so in a way that feels like, ironically, a soft touch. This track has futuristic synths, but it also uses piano and some strings to dash in a classical sound. Overall, it mixes sounds that sound like the past and others that sound like the future, which feel like a space of respite. That being said, it has a cinematic feel as the instrumentation builds throughout the track.

Dmitry Selipanov Ft. Anilee List – i heard you

‘i heard you’  hits a jazzy R&B track with snappy percussion and deep piano sounds ushering in soft vocals. The flow of this track sets up a space of introspection, and there’s a bit of a fuzzy sound that travels between the stereo at times to set up atmosphere. The vocals bend and flow beautifully, and they’re beautifully produced for their emotion to stand out. Additionally, they gorgeously hit higher tones and complex riffs. This explores ideas of time moving forward while exploring the past, deep connection, and disconnection. It’s conceptual and poetic, and it hits in an emotional way.

Tylo $mith Ft. Bree. – All That I Need

‘All That I Need’ hits that emotional hip-hop tone that puts focus on the flow and lyricism with a simple beat that weaves around it. There’s a piano note that softly repeats in the instrumentation, and an atmospheric bass, some shakery percussion, drums, and other piano layers build around it. The vocal flow is fire, but there’s emotion twanged into the way lines are delivered, and it’s dynamic throughout. Also, Bree. adds some R&B hip-hop mixed flow in her vocal part. Lyrically, this track explores the loss of love when a relationship ends and how empty that feels.
