These 4 Tracks Get Into the Ups and Downs of Emotion

These 4 tracks offer a distinct journey. They’re here to give a flow from emotional lows to emotional highs. This is all done with both lyricized and instrumental tracks. Check out the range these tracks give through the way they resonate with emotions!

N3WYRKLA – Plastic Cup

‘Plastic Cup’ mixes an electric, punchy pop sound with R&B influences. The instrumentals use a growly bass and lo-fi crashy drums but keep a soft pacing. Then, the vocals jump between a soft and ethereal flow and strong rhythmic emotion. Everything about the production allows the composition to truly shine. Lyrically, it explores a disconnect in a relationship that causes a back-and-forth, all dashed with a range of emotions.

Dr. GO – Easter

Easter may be over, but there’s still time to get caught in the atmosphere of Dr. GO’s track of the same name. Like much of his discography, it utilizes an almost lo-fi, but also outer space-like, sound. The dynamic flow of the track almost slowly oscillates, the quicker and more laid-back sections flowing back and forth. There’s also an operatic voice that at times says, “I’m too tired of my life,” which dashes in an introspective undertone.

HattenandOrliss – Look At That

‘Look At That’ has a nostalgic flair with early 2000s sounds in the way the vocals are filtered and in the overall style of the track. While these last couple of tracks had more down emotions, this track is an upbeat, good vibe all around. The melody in this track is catchy, and it’s here for anyone who likes the good-feeling pop from the past. Lyrically, it was written about taking time to enjoy the good moments that life has to offer!

Dr. GO – It´s allright

‘It’s allright’ is a track that takes an optimistic spin on Dr. GO’s sound. It has a laid-back but sweet flow and bounce to it, and the brighter tones used build a more lively atmosphere. The percussion gives a bouncy rhythm, and there’s something adventurous about the tone of it. It feels like being in a fantasy wonderland with a futuristic twang.
