Declan Palmer just released their latest track, ‘Tell Me The Answer’, today, November 20, 2025. This is done in preparation for an upcoming EP and is the debut single from it.
‘Tell Me The Answer’ is a deep cut that highlights stellar vocals with top-notch production and infectious melody. This track has instrumentation that’s built primarily with bass and guitar, and the basis of it is more crisp, but there are moments with gritty, more growly bass leads. The production of this track does well at making things dynamic, even in just the way that each sound is produced and edited. The vocals take the stage for sure, but the instrumentals have their moments where they’re highlighted, and everything finds a space of clarity through much of the track.
Lyrically, ‘Tell Me The Answer’ comes from the voice of someone who is unsure about their next step. They have a love for another, but it seems to be a push-and-pull type of relationship, which makes them unsure whether they’re just a friend or something more. This narrator wants to know the answer to whether this person really loves them, so that they can know if they’re just wasting time or not. Though they’re deeply in love, they don’t know whether they have worth to the one who has captured their affection. This lyrical narrative seems to follow the flow of the music, the emotional back and forth playing out as the track moves along.
