The release of Seamus Fox’s “Road of Life” took place on November 19th of 2021. Let’s see the roads all around as our eyes are now open while going in new directions.
Based in Massachusetts, Seamus is not just your typical artist. Performers on the Go claims that Seamus has been writing new music at the studios offered at the University of Tampa, where he is currently studying and attending as a freshman there. According to Seamus’ “About” on Spotify, Seamus tends to “travel across New England”, where he would perform at small venues and festivals. He would take his keyboard with him as well when traveling across New England (spotify.com).
“Road of Life” represents Seamus’ respected genre of indie-pop. He was also able to influence the genres of pop and contemporary pop with the help of a full band sound as he was able to release this track for all to hear along with being a singer-songwriter that was able to bring this beautiful acoustic piece to life.
The melody was not the only noteworthy aspect of the track. Seamus has a warm and distinctive vocal tone and puts real feelings into the lyrics. The lyrics are meaningful and clever with some deep phrases. Instrumentally, the track has a smooth, compelling accompaniment that was able to fit the vocal track beautifully. There was a great piano sound, too. Both vocally and instrumentally, the performance quality of the track was high and perfect throughout. Overall, the track is melodious and tuneful, and I think it has strong potential to drive its way to and through the hearts of audiences everywhere and anywhere.
