“Wilderness – LWTO Remix” is a new song by artist Sarah Reynolds. The song starts with a series of electric guitar chords and her vocals blended. She describes the struggles of life, and how self confidence can be our own downfall when everything feels too stressful. “What if I don’t feel good enough,” she sings.
She sings that she wants out of the “wilderness.” The chorus is extremely catchy, and this song has a lot of potential. The drum part is not overpowering, but it fits into the song well, adding just enough background presence. During the chorus, more guitar parts join in, and add more layers to the melody.
There is a bridge after the second chorus, during this part the guitar adds a more dark tone over the track. “Cause I have had dark thoughts, dark days, lonely nights. And on my heart hurts, heart burns for some other life. And yet I know that you’re here by my side. And your plans are for good, and you always provide.” She sings this about her faith in Jesus, to help get her through the hard times in her life.
This version of the song is the remix, and the original version is on Spotify as well. Both versions contain the same lyrics and overall form, but the guitar on the remix replaces a piano part on the original. Both versions are well done, and enjoyable, they just have slightly different sounds which helps create a slightly different mood.
