An Indian Summer /// Georgia Maria

“An Indian Summer” is the new single by artist Georgia Maria. She is a singer and guitar player from England. This rock song has layered guitar parts that add to the depth of the song. It is well produced and well written. Her playing is hard hitting but also soulful and expressive.

The lyrics describe the experiences of love as “an Indian Summer.” “If you think you’ve got love that you owe her, tell me is it worth chasing her over and over the face of the Earth?” she sings.

She also has added a band backing her up for recording and performances. This song structure is familiar for rock fans, but the guitar does pop out upon repeated listens. She is a talented guitarist, and singer.

“Let me unwind you, spellbind you. You’re forgetting me, so let me remind you. Or if you think you’ve got love that you owe her, tell me is it worth? Cast me out, now you reel me back in. Singing into the wind, flying out of my skin. So close that you thought I’d become her. Will our love get an Indian summer?” she sings. This relationship is being compared to one in the past, and she wonders how the future will unfold.

She already has lots of performing experience, with her website saying she has performed some “600 gigs” to date. She has 637 monthly listeners on Spotify as well. “An Indian Summer” has already hit 3,000 streams in a little over a month. Her website also says to expect “full-blown avalanche of new music set to be released upon 2022.”

Georgia Maria is definitely a name to remember, with more music to come out soon.
