All My Life /// Downtown Patriots

Rock out for love with ‘All My Life’, the latest single by Downtown Patriots!

What ‘All My Life’ does beat is taking a rock-basis and spinning it in a more optimistic way than is typical. The guitar has that dark buzz to it, the drums give an exciting rush, and the vocals have a well-implemented growl with some on-point belting. Every aspect of the musicianship is delivered with so much strength, and the production and mixing allow each aspect to stand out in its own right. The lyrics share a really deep emotional exploration of love, which is where optimism comes into play. Overall, the way love is explored within sounds from the rock genre is unique and done well. That being said, they never quite delve into the idea of receiving love, just feeling it for another person.

Danny Watts, the voice behind Downtown Patriots, is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who garners inspiration from 90s rock and grunge music with a dash of 80s synths. His goal is to transcend genre due to his admiration for several genres, and that is implemented well throughout his discography. Watts already has a colorful discography, so let’s see what he has to offer moving forward.
