Bittersweet Symphony /// Spaceface

Spaceface just dropped their latest track ‘Bittersweet Symphony’, an exciting and fresh cover of The Verve.

The synthy string-based instrumentation in ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ has such a good flow through the sound space it takes up with its dynamic mix. On top of that, the vocals are filtered in a way that makes them fit into the instrumentation. It does well at taking the sounds and lyrics of The Verve and playing with them by using dreamy synth sounds. Overall, this is a well-done cover that stays true to the original track while still making it its own.

Spaceface is a Los Angeles-based neo-psychedelic dream pop band formed in 2012. They’ve played all throughout North America and at festivals internationally, and they have a goal to acknowledge pain while giving an escape from it to those who listen. Currently, they have 2 albums, an EP, and a remix album on top of several singles. They’ve already made their mark in the indie scene over the course of time, so let’s see how they evolve from here!
