Kick those feelings of loneliness with Hazel Ray’s latest single, ‘Lonely’!
‘Lonely’ has a balladlike nature with instrumentation that’s built with electric guitars and synths. Additionally, the drum beat works with a trap sound that interestingly fits perfectly into it. The vocals have a nice softness, but the belting in the chorus has a lot to add. As things move along, the synths raise in energy to drive the lyrical point home. Speaking of, the lyrics start as a tale of loneliness, but they also evolve in an optimistic direction as the synths do. Overall, it seems to tell a story that there is a connection between everything, and therefore we are never truly alone.
Hazel Ray is more than a musician, she’s also a self-discovery coach and spirituality advocate. She’s been making music since she was young and writes to help listeners connect and heal. ‘Lonely’ was written by Hazel and pop singer/songwriter Roxley, who also produced the track.
