Wind, Hail, And Snow /// Kristian Phillip Valentino

“Wind, Hail, And Snow” is the new single by Kristian Phillip Valentino. This soft and soulful track captures the listener with delicate artistry, and impactful word painting.

This song starts with a soft piano part, and then a delicate singing voice that floats on top of the notes. His singing is very soulful and melodic. This song is heavily Folk Rock influenced, as a drum and electric guitar part add more layers during the outro of the song. Most of the track is carried by his singing and the lyrics.

Kristian Phillip Valentino is a folk artist currently residing in Asheville, North Carolina. His new album, which is set to release in March 2022, is about a real life relationship from his past. The album is also in sections, with a couple songs for each season representing a period of time in said relationship. The main metaphor is using the seasons and weather to represent change, and of course this song title also makes reference to weather. This song would fit into the Winter section of the album.

“I was waiting for the right time, a love that never came, now I’m burdened and to blame,” he sings. This song features great songwriting, and also personal songwriting. You can really connect to Valentino’s humanity and emotion when hearing him sing.

According to his website, he has been releasing one song a month leading up to the album release in March. This of course means there is plenty of released material on his page already, that will also be featured on the album.
