American-based singer-songwriter, Emmrose, released her latest track, “The Gallows,” on 22 April 2022. This track follows a track that has been released in March titled “Brave New World.”
“The Gallows” starts off rather relaxing, Emmrose providing warm and clear vocals as the sounds of guitar and piano pave a way for the track to blossom and bloom into what it came to be. As soon as the track starts, listeners are able to get a glimpse into a nostalgic-like feel, hearing balanced and rhythmic beats coming together to create a solid and atmospheric accompaniment that makes the track glisten just like a star in the night-time sky.
Speaking of the track itself, Emmrose stated that she wrote this track after seeing an old boyfriend of hers walking down the street, holding another girl’s hand while taking a stroll in the park.
Emmrose is certainly an artist that you might want to put on a list of new artists to check out, especially if you want to experience a more relaxed release that brings back feelings of constant nostalgia that is able to tell the story through the eyes of lyrics that are destined to be told. “The Gallows” seems like a promising track that provides a story that is explained through the eyes of someone trying to heal from a past relationship. While another chapter starts, new beginnings are able to shine through in no time without any hesitation whatsoever as far as wanting to see where life is destined to go.
