Don’t Hold On /// Mina

Mina, a singer-songwriter based in London, though she is originally from Switzerland, released a track called “Don’t Hold On” on October 7th. The extended version of this jazzy tune made its release for all to hear as well about a week later on October 14th.

“Don’t Hold On” was able to have such a smooth introduction with an accompaniment that is rhythmic and atmospheric. With warm and strong vocals from Mina herself, the sounds that any instruments that made this piece flourish had the opportunity to pave the way for what this track had to share, as well as the story behind it. As the track continued to progress throughout, Mina’s intended audience get a glimpse into how catchy this tune is and what this track has been able to unfold.

Speaking of “Don’t Hold On,” it has been said that this track is about Mina’s experience with “navigating through the world of modern dating and how many of her generation are not only overwhelmed by too many choices but crippled by indecision and fear of commitment.”

If you’re looking for an artist that is able to share the opportunity of navigating through the world in their point of view, then Mina is your go-to singer-songwriter. “Don’t Hold On” seems like a real promise as Mina is able to share her story with the world and how modern dating are overwhelmed with certain possibilities that could possibly stand in the way of what is bound to come when it comes to love.
