Alright /// The Max Headroom

Depending on where in the world you are reading this, the lazy days of summer could either be upon you, winding down or a few months away. Regardless, there will always be a natural magnetism to making the most out of each round of midsummer splendor before it departs. Australian indie rock band The Max Headroom’s lively new single, “Alright,” compels you to surrender to the moment and bask in its glow. It is a spirited, garage rock-tinged anthem for ceasing the opportunity to live in the here and now.

For the most part, “Alright” carries on a happy fun time, indie rock vibe. At the same time, it still has a bit of ragged, garage rock rawness attached to it. Altogether, it’s a jumpstart of adrenaline to get you moving, but wiry enough to keep you engaged. It’s a relaxing day by the beach meets a mad dash headlong into the thrashing of the waves.

At its core, “Alright” is about leaving your inhibitions and hesitancy behind you. You have one chance to make a memory and might as well embrace it. It’s also about the anticipation of creating an unforgettable moment in time. It’s the intoxicating phenomenon that comes from the natural buzz you get when you commit to being in the moment.

Altogether, “Alright” is about getting all that you can out of life. It embraces the freedom of squeezing every last drop of joy out of the experience. On this track, The Max Headroom lives it up and wants this moment to last a lifetime.
