Tried to Forget About /// Alta Falls

Brisbane-based duo, Alta Falls – a duo made up of lead vocalist and guitarist, Nathanael, and backing vocalist and keys, Matt – released their latest track called “Tried to Forget About” on April 14th. This fantastic tune was able to follow in the footsteps of their 2022 single titled “I’m At A Loss.”

Having to have teamed up with producer, Aidan Hogg, and drummer, Sebastian ‘Baz’ Jennings Hingston, “Tried to Forget About” was able to have a rich introduction with an accompaniment that is creative and exciting. With impressive vocals from Nathanael himself, as well as rich backing vocals from Matt, the sounds of the keys, the drums, and other instruments involved were able to make the track melodious and tuneful, creating a sound that is compelling. As the track continues to progress throughout, Alta Falls is able to give their intended audience a story that is worth sharing, a story that new and current listeners might relate to.

Speaking of “Tried to Forget About,” it was stated that this single was able to tell “the story of Nathanael’s childhood friend.”

If you’re looking for a duo who is able to share tunes that are both balanced and varied, then Alta Falls is your go-to duo. “Tried to Forget About” seems like a real promise as the track was able to provide meaningful lyrics and express the story of memories one can look back on. While the performance quality of this track was high throughout, this song is melodic and well-shaped overall, having the potential to reach Alta Falls’ intended audience all around the world as their amazing talent continues to shine through.
