Carson Ferris – a pop artist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Utah – released his latest track called “1999” on September 22nd. This fantastic tune was able to follow in the footsteps of his previous single which was released back in June titled “Crazy.”

With the help of producer, Mykyl, “1999” was able to have a rhythmic introduction with an accompaniment that is creative and atmospheric. With rich and stylish vocals from Carson himself, the sounds of any instruments involved in this nostalgic piece made the track smooth and compelling. As the track continues to progress throughout, Carson is able to give his intended audience a blast from the past with a tuneful beat that is able to get them dancing and up on their feet in no time.

Speaking of “1999,” Carson offers his insight about the song, stating that “people have often called me an old soul, and 1999 kind of echoes that in a really cool way.”

If you’re looking for an artist who is able to share their spin on the nostalgic presence of the late 90s and similar references that are able to make you go back in time with just one listen, then Carson Ferris is your go-to artist. “1999” seems like a real promise as the track’s original lyrics were able to provide a glimpse into the past. While the performance quality of “1999” was high throughout, it was melodious and catchy overall as Carson is able to continue to share his phenomenal talent with new and current listeners.
