Catch some vibes with Alex Blocker’s latest track ‘I Like It’!
The vocals in ‘I Like It’ make dynamic jumps between a nice rasp and smooth higher tones. The fingerpicked guitar has a really nice flow to it, and the bass slap has a lot to add to the flow when put together with the percussion. Also, the violin solo has a lot of extra color to add. Lyrically, it explores love and the simple parts of life that make it more, well, lifelike. On top of that, the chorus is such a good earworm. All around, it’s catchy, it’s fun, it’s dancey, and it begs listeners to have it on repeat.
‘I Like It’ was produced by Alex Blocker and Deep Breath spontaneously in Denver, Colorado. It was written to tell a message of positivity and give good vibes. Blocker is a singer, instrumentalist, producer, and contemporary violin player who writes with a blend of R&B, Rock, and Jazz influences. Since he started making music, he has played alongside the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, was featured in the “Black in Denver” Exhibit by Narkita Gold, and was in “New Colorado Music You Should Know” from 303 Magazine. He’s versatile and already has done so much, so who knows how much farther he’ll go from here?
