Independent singer-songwriter Mark Pulsipher’s outlook on life cannot be seen as anything short of admirable. A man who has experienced more than his share of life tragedies, he refuses to let his lowest moments define him for the worse and has instead channeled his passion and emotions into his art. In his latest single “Wishing Well,” he reflects on the tribulations that have shaped him, ultimately focusing on the ways they have taught him to grow.
A series of slowly strummed cords on an acoustic guitar kickstart the piece and set the mood for the somber performance. The notes reverberate with a deep sense of echoing resonance, they fill the room with their progression.
