Find your light with Sarantos’s latest single ‘You Have You’!
‘You Have You’ is an electronic synth-pop track with an 80s twang in its synths. Overall, it’s both well-composed and well-produced. There’s something about the way it puts almost a pop-ballad sound in the lyrics over top of electronic sonics. The percussion stands out in this track, as the flow of energy in the music seems to flow around it well in the sections that it’s introduced. That being said, the instrumentation evolves quite a bit from section to section. It never gets too fast or slow, but the speed changes as different instrumental elements are introduced and pulled back. There are times when the sound is full, and there are others where the simple instrumentation is here to wrap listeners in its beauty. The lyrics in this track explore the difficult feelings that one has when they struggle with self-kindness and love. That being said, it takes a hopeful tone, expressing the light is in the listener and that they always can rely on themself. It basically shares that what one needs is oneself, as they can bring light and warmth into their own life.
