5 New Tracks to Provide a Diverse Sonic Soundscape

This is probably the most diverse round-up you’ve found online in terms of sound. It has EDM tracks, emotionally-heavy pop, hyperpop, and R&B. Additionally, it works with acoustic sounds, electronic sounds, and a mix of both. Not only that, it has a range of original tracks, acoustic versions, covers, and remixes. This is a list of 5 new tracks to show a diverse sonic soundscape; and it’s here for the music nerd that lives deep within everyone!

Bruklin – Good Cry (Acoustic)

‘Good Cry’ was already a great single with its almost dancey beat with emotional lyricism. But what if it was toned back and down into an acoustic track? Well, let’s just say that if you’ve been “overdue for a really good cry,” this will help you get there! The acoustic guitar in it plays well with the raw emotion in the lyrics. The production of everything in this reimagining is toned back, and it’s sure to give goosebumps to many. This goes especially to those processing heartbreak and need to finally cry it out.

Eghoza – Holiday

‘Holiday’ is a smooth R&B track with lo-fi influences and a lot of emotion. The flow of the vocals hits R&B melody but takes hip-hop influences in its rhythm.  The vocals are produced well, but they aren’t overproduced. This allows its sweet and smooth tones to deliver with emotion. The lyrics seem to express both a loving relationship and passion/confidence in making music. The chill emotion that overarches everything in a way that feels like a well-needed holiday.

CH<3LY – music.mp3

music.mp3 is a hyperpop track with catchy lyricism and ethereal sonics. Overall, it has a dreaminess to it, and it works well with its energetic flow. None of it feels too rushed, but it has the right peaks in instrumentation and vocals to keep things interesting throughout. Even the vocals are produced to the electronics, and they hit in a dreamy way that fits in with the instrumentation cleanly. Speaking of, the vocals in the intro work into the track as a well-crafted initial hook.

proppaganda Ft. Sara Landry and Aaron Hibell – Veni Vidi Vici (remix)

This remix of Veni Vidi Vici takes a sound with an energy level of 10 and turns it up to 11. This is an EDM rush, that would make any listener want to jump straight onto the dancefloor. The energy starts strong, and then it starts to pick up with a rising percussive drive before a wide range of synths, both brighter tones and bass, pull listeners into a sound that’s nothing short of lifelike. That being said, the energy lowers and rises a good few times throughout the track. Though it is high energy, the portions with a bit less energy serve as the perfect interludes to assure the rush isn’t overwhelming!

Dagga Ft. Mirez – Toxic

This Britney Spears ‘Toxic’ cover, like some of the other tracks in this list, is a reimagining like no other. It takes the original pop idol sound, makes it a mix of strings and electronics, and tones back the tempo. One thing about the way it’s crafted is that it does phenomenally at adding a haunting emotional undertone to things. The cello is gorgeous, the bass buzz rises and fades in an atmospheric way, and the vocals are filled with soul. These vocals bend and riff around, hitting sweet and soft high tones alongside full lower tones. This track definitely does well at taking the lyricism and delivering it in a way that gives it an entirely different interpretation.
