6 Tracks From June to Catch Before the Month Ends

The first two tracks in this list came out two days ago, June 27th, 2025. To celebrate their release so close to the month’s end, here is a collection of 6 tracks total that have been released within June.

Evan Kreutz – ode to an ex

‘ode to an ex’ is a swingy indie pop song that uses a full band sound with percussion, guitar, and bass that flows seamlessly to build a captivating flow from start to back. Its moderate pacing makes it the perfect gateway for the emotion to shine through the vocals and lyrics. The vocals hit with great melody, but around 1:11, a more rhythmic vocal style cuts in.  Lyrically, this track is very raw and real. It talks about losing peace and quiet, not wanting another to be hurt, lies, and pained feelings.

Joe’s Chance – Few More Words

‘Few More Words’ is a synthy indie track that takes on a bounce with its brighter synths that play in the forefront of the instrumentation. The warmth in the instrumentation works with a brassy vocal to build a sound that’s both summery and dreamy. There are also drums that sound like they take on a slowed-down trap sound with some soft bass, and whistles cut in to fill out the brighter atmosphere well. The track is about wanting another and falling in love with them in a way that keeps them on the mind, though there is a fear of getting hurt. It’s about wanting someone and shooting that shot.

GHYST – VOMIT

‘VOMIT’ is powerful and gritty. It uses a pop idol sound and turned up hardcore elements to make an angry pop sound that packs more than enough punch. Though this sound has been attempted before, the dark buzz of this track and angry rapped bars and screams make it stand out in the pop scene. It’s a synthy piece that heavily uses bass and trap drums behind dynamic vocals to create a track that flows with a strong tempo and rush of sound. The lyrics use dark themes to jab back at the unfair societal roles placed on women, and the way they’re delivered gives horrorcore vibes.

Naomi Jane – Mr. Incognito

‘Mr. Incognito’ is a gorgeous synthy pop piece with a great bass-led instrumentation and a focus on melodic vocals that take the forefront. It has a very moderate flow, and there’s something about it that builds a sense of introspection. Despite its moderate flow, the instrumentation bends and weaves in a way that builds dynamic intrigue. It’s raw and emotional, and that shines through well. It explores a tale of being mistreated by someone with narcissistic traits, but it also punches back at this former lover with strength.

katie MAC – Parallel Lines

‘Parallel Lines’ plays with electronic sounding vocals and a piano-like synth drone that controls the tempo with different synth sounds cutting in and out to build a dynamic flow. It has a really powerful bass pickup in the chorus to drive in the hook, and this gives a lot of dynamic and intrigue. Then, the build before things slow down in the end is a great climax. The lyrics get into a story of a relationship that never quite worked out, no matter how much each party tried. It explores what it’s like to be in love and disconnected at the same time.

Forgetmyname – setmefree

‘setmefree’ takes on a softer tempo than any other track on this list. The vocals are soft and breathy, and the synths build an introspective atmosphere all throughout, some of the synths sounding like they’re being played in reverse. That being said, with the initial tempo, it picks up with a great bass lead that turns the energy up. That being said, the other synths continue the ethereal atmosphere. Lyrically, it’s about wanting to be close to another but also being afraid of how things may go. It has a sense of longing that rings out throughout the piece.
