Any person who has followed recent reviews knows that we’ve been loving the recent music from Akihisa Yorozu. They all follow a unique and new genre called Transplex, and they just released their latest album, Transplex Ag : Algorithm God, today, November 11, 2025. Because of this, Popfad has decided to highlight one of the most exhilarating tracks on the album, ‘Transplex-Ag-Omega’.
Akihisa Yorozu – Transplex-Ag-Omega
Anyone who has read our past few reviews and has enjoyed the Transplex collection by Akihisa Yorozu, ‘Transplex-Ag-Omega’ is another track to adore. It continues that vibe of a rushed tempo and glitchy sounds like that of a video game. This one does especially well at having moments where notes choppily cut in through minor moments of silence to build excitement and intrigue. This is another amazing release from Akikisa Yorozu, and it dropped today. This is something fresh to catch right now!
The Next Movement – Call Me
‘Call Me’ utilized modern production techniques to take the funk genre and turn it up to eleven. Its bounce has an excitement, and the slap of the bass plays well with the synthy electric guitar. The mix gives a lot of depth as well, placing different aspects of the sound in different parts of the stereo so that everything pops. It also works with both raw and vocoded vocals to bring things even more to life. Additionally, the instrumental bits add a lot of diversity to the track. Lyrically, it’s fun and lifelike, expressing self-confidence and asking another to call the narrator.
Dominique – Hurt
‘Hurt’ is an emotional R&B pop cut with an addictive melody and a beautiful atmosphere in the instrumentation. This track has a bass-heavy instrumentation with some synths that give a bit of a groove, and it somehow works with an exciting and quick tempo in a way that highlights the emotion in the vocals. Though it expresses hurt, the quicker sound takes back power in the self regardless. Lyrically, it has overlying themes of having one’s heart broken. But it also gets into growth and the recovery process.
Oriana Nash – Woman
Orianna Nash’s ‘Woman’ cleanly mixes a more gritty rock sound with pop sensibilities to deliver an addictive melody with a certain sense of power. The vocals have a lot of strength in the more belted chorus, and they have just the right amount of dynamics in rhythm to keep things addictive from start to finish. The production gives a bit of a grunge feeling in the instrumentation, and that plays well with the power of the vocals. This track is about a woman with a loving and protective relationship with her girl. It’s a powerful lyrical message telling others to stay off what’s hers.
Alpaca-in-Chief – Ex-God in a Toga
“Ex-God in a Toga” is an indie pop rock track with a nice bass lead and dreamy, reverberated guitars. The soundscape it makes builds an introspective vibe, and the percussion rests just behind the other instrumentals in the mix for a well-controlled rhythm. It has a moderate flow, but that flow does well in providing a background for the poetic lyrical narrative. Lyrically, this track explores the birth and death of the world, all with the human condition in between.
