Michelle Sara—a Romanian singer-songwriter based in London—released her latest single titled ‘Like a Thief’ in early May of this year. This upbeat tune was able to follow in the footsteps of her previous release called ‘Forever.’
The introduction to ‘Like a Thief’ was compelling and rhythmic. Michelle’s tone was rich and warm, as she was able to sing her heart out to the words of this rockin’ track. The lyrics to this release were original and clever, and the phrases were amusing. ‘Like a Thief’ was able to have an atmospheric accompaniment; it complemented the vocal track rather well. As the track was able to progress throughout, Michelle Sara was able to give her intended audience something that they could have possibly related to; it’s as if it has been telling a story.
Speaking of ‘Like a Thief,’ it has been stated that this release “explores the idea of karma, calling out those who take endlessly while giving nothing in return, often playing the victim card.” It was also shared that the track itself “reflects on self-worth and the strength in stepping back, letting actions speak louder than words.”
