For independent artists, keeping new music coming can be a challenge, but jaqueline already has plenty of songs ready to share. The Romanian-born singer-songwriter has completed more than 30 original songs and hopes to release a new single every month. Her latest release, “Come to Regret”, follows “Grace” and gives listeners another example of her songwriting.
The new track focuses on the frustration of caring about someone who repeatedly pulls away. jaqueline explores the difficulty of accepting that a relationship may not turn out as expected, even when feelings remain. Her lyrics are direct and personal, while the prominent guitars give the alternative pop-rock production a tougher sound.
Written, performed and co-produced by jaqueline, the single also features production and engineering by Tsee (Tudor Sinca), with guitar contributions from Victor Solomon.
With “Come to Regret”, jaqueline continues putting her original material out into the world while working towards her monthly release goal. Having already written so many songs, she has plenty of material to draw on for future singles. It will be interesting to hear what she chooses to release next.
