Find love for your life in whenitsmytime’s brand new track ‘Stupid Little Life’, released today. 02/12/2025
‘Stupid Little Life’ uses simple ukulele in its intro with some bird sounds to form the basis of a quirky tongue-in-cheek romp through the present. It has a little bit of a lo-fi sound, but it’s done in a clean way. Later in the track, some sax enters with a nice and warm instrumental. And that describes this track well, warm. The, “I just live my stupid little life / stupid little life of mine,” hits a bit of a humorous note, as the lyrics explore the idea of living in and enjoying the moment. The main voice of the track notes personal struggles, but more so, it tells a message of living in the moment, enjoying what’s there to be enjoyed, and staying true to oneself.
whenitsmytime is a New York City-based band fronted by Andrew Krivtsov who grew up in Russia’s harsh Arctic. They make music with an indie, pop, and rock basis with a focus on bringing a warm and comforting energy to the table. Using these influences, the band writes music with a happier and a bit of a spiritual tone from a philosophical standpoint. Though it is generally happy, it delves into deep topics, which proves that deepness doesn’t always have to correlate with darkness. ‘Stupid Little Life’ is an amazing new release from an already stellar discography, so let’s see where things go from here!
