“The One” is a track that could tell a story through the eyes of someone wanting to find that special someone to have a connection with, someone that wanted to try their best to settle down with that one person that they could imagine spending the rest of their life with. With instrumentation that has a great feel to make the song stand out, it is able to bring out a wonderful tune and melody to make the track feel bold and rich in so many ways.
Based in the West Midlands, Daniel has been able to provide lyrics that can make the audience relate to a full extent. Daniel is not just a typical artist, however. His website, danielbarriemusic.com, claims that the English singer-songwriter “refuses to allow his Dyslexia to limit his songs.”
The melodies are not the only noteworthy aspect of “The One.” This track is melodic and well-shaped. Daniel has a rich vocal tone and puts real feelings into the lyrics. The lyrics are meaningful and deep with some expressive phrases. Instrumentally, the song has an accompaniment that is creative and solid. Great guitar playing is shown in the song as well. The performance quality is outstanding, both vocally and instrumentally. Overall, the song is warm and distinctive, and I think it has the potential to reach the hearts of those who can relate to hoping to find that person they can settle down with.
