For the past six decades, classic rock continues to unfold in the music world. On the other hand, there are still musical artists out there who continue to let classic rock and other genres speak through its spoken lyrics and outstanding talent that has yet to shine through the stars in the sky. This goes for artists like Bailey Tomkinson. Her first release of 2022, “Can’t Lose”, is a track that is able to share tons of lyrical content.
The England-based singer/songwriter delivers a rockin’ piece with “Can’t Lose”. It is noted by EUPHORIA. Magazine that this track “dissects the losses and triumphs of life in the form of a handwritten love letter addressed to New York City.”
The rockin’ sounds of the guitar can be heard throughout in a track that would pair beautifully with the ending credits of a movie or a part of a tracklist for a movie soundtrack. If a part of a movie soundtrack, it can share a protagonist’s point of view of how life is going, taking on its challenges and objectives. If towards the end of a movie, it can share the ending of a protagonist’s point of view, sharing the moral of his or her story at the end of what they have faced out in the real world.
Once again, “Can’t Lose” is the first release from Tomkinson in 2022, and has been able to release her previous track, “Bright Red,” in 2021. Those that are wanting to expand their musical horizons should check out Bailey Tomkinson because I am sure that she has other releases that have yet to be shared with the public eye.
