Dance Floor /// After Arden

Soft rock has begun to run its course in the music world in the 1960s, gaining much commercial success in the decades that followed. On the other hand, there are still musical bands out there who continue to give soft rock a meaning, continuing to bring on the influence of the genre, especially with bands like After Arden. Their track, “Dance Floor”, brings tons of lyrical content and lots more that came with it.

The Brighton-based indie-pop band was able to deliver a classical piece with “Dance Floor.” It is noted that the three-piece band drew “inspiration from all the color and diversity the city has to offer.” Having moved from Norway (Hedda), France (Jess), and Germany (Flo), After Arden has been able to share their passion for music that ranged from catchy melodies and acoustic guitars to vocal harmonies.

The piano that is playing in the track matches well and was heard throughout in a song that would pair beautifully with a dance that could be used at a wedding or for any special occasion. With instrumentation that is bound to get audiences to dance and possibly fall in love, this track is bound to make positive impacts in the music world.

Again, “Dance Floor” is a track from After Arden, and came sometime after their release, “We Are On Fire”, which took place in 2021. Those wanting to listen to a genre that can still run its course in the music world should definitely check out After Arden because their music is, in many ways, outstanding.
