Nashville-based band, The Thing With Feathers, released their latest track called “Everything I’m Missing” on January 20th. This fantastic tune was able to follow the footsteps of their previous single called “These Drugs.”
“Everything I’m Missing” had a rhythmic introduction with an accompaniment that was full and rich. With strong vocals coming from vocalist David Welcsh, the sounds of the lead guitar (played by Alex Hendricks) and drums (played by Chris Roussell) were able to set the tone of the track, creating an atmosphere that will pave the way for what the song has to offer, especially for those wanting to find a new band to listen to. As the track continues to progress throughout, The Thing With Feathers is able to give their intended audience a glimpse into what they have to offer with the track’s compelling sound.
Speaking of “Everything I’m Missing,” David shares that this “song definitely has a greater sense of nostalgia for us compared to the other tracks on the record in which we were a bit more determined to push the parameters of our genre and create a new modern rock sound.”
If you’re looking for a band willing to take you back in time with nostalgic sounds that will take you back to the early days of music, then The Thing With Feathers is your go-to band. “Everything I’m Missing” seems like a real promise as the track is able to bring the listener back to the early 2000s with its engaging sound.
