Based in Switzerland and/or Vancouver, Rykka – an artist, musician, and designer – released her latest single, “High Trust High Stakes,” on September 20, 2024. This fantastic tune was able to follow in the footsteps of a previous release that she released a year-and-a-half or two years prior, “You Got Me.”
With the help of producer Benji, “High Trust High Stakes” was able to have an introduction that is rich and compelling as the accompaniment is smooth and rhythmic. With impressive vocals from Rykka herself, the sounds of any and all instruments involved in this track made this release strong and melodious. As the track continues to progress throughout, Rykka was able to give her intended audience a story to listen to or share, even if it involves trust in a relationship.
Speaking of “High Trust High Stakes,” Rykka stated that “Initially, I wrote the song about trusting someone—navigating the ebb and flow of a relationship.”
If you’re looking for an artist who puts their heart and soul into their music, then Rykka is your go-to artist. “High Trust High Stakes” seems like a real promise as the song’s expressive lyrics are able to create an atmosphere that listeners could be a part of or relate to. While the performance quality of “High Trust High Mess” was high throughout, it was melodic and well-shaped as Rykka is and still continues to share her awesome talent with the world and her audience while embarking on her musical journey and endeavors at the same time.
