New York-based artist, Josh Tepper, released the duet version of his track titled “Built Me” back in December of 2022 that featured Madisyn Shipman, an American actress that is based in North Carolina. This melodious tune followed in the footsteps of his previous single called “Walking in Memphis.”
The duet version of “Built Me” was able to have such an engaging introduction with an accompaniment that is smooth and compelling. With strong, rich vocals from both Josh and Madisyn, any instruments that accompanied the track brought the single to life, making the song powerful and exciting in many ways. As the track continued to progress throughout, Josh and Madisyn were able to bring their intended audience a story that others could possibly relate to, or even people who were able to, in many ways, experience the same thing.
Speaking of “Built Me,” Josh had shared that he wrote this song “as an ode to past relationships that weren’t necessarily good for me, but I missed the person anyway.”
