Kelsie Kimberlin /// Dream of Peace

Having forged her own path in dramatic fashion over the past several years and with little left to prove, Ukrainian-born artist and activist Kelsie Kimberlin has astounded fans with her commitment to her creative vision and altruistic accomplishments since emerging onto the scene a short time ago. By staying true to her mission, measuring up as admirable by any interpretation, she has continued to make a name for herself through a nonstop stream of creative work that entertains while championing her beliefs of a world united. Her latest release only serves to fortify her already robust legacy, as she showcases possibly her most captivating single to date, a seven-minute ballad titled Dream of Peace.

A series of instrumentals echo as they find their tune, and anticipation builds for a full minute as we feel the world of this music build around us. Kimberlin’s vocals appear shortly after the rhythm finds its cohesion, and begins the narrative with immediate depth, bellowing in a whispered, yet resonant tone, “It’s not the way we ought to live. It’s not the way we’re taught to be. It’s not the way to treat ourselves. It’s not the way, so plain to see. I just want to make peace.” From there, the music continues in optimistic tambour with growingly sentimental symphonic backing.

Continuing to define her path through music that reflects the views of those who advocate for unity and worldwide spiritual acceptance, she continues to give her fans an increasingly impressive set of production values with every release, while keeping her dreams and integrity intact throughout the process.
