Copenhagen-based artist, Frederik Hansen, released his latest track called “Queen” on July 7th. Featuring singer, songwriter, and producer, Kid Axl, this fantastic tune was able to follow in the footsteps of an EP that Frederik had released back in April of this year called “Where The Secrets Are Made.”
“Queen” was able to have a compelling introduction with an accompaniment that is smooth and creative. With rich vocals from Kid Axl himself, the sounds of any instruments involved were able to make the track tuneful for all audiences to listen to. As the track continues to progress, Frederik and Kid Axl can give their intended audiences a story that has been told through its expressive lyrics.
Speaking of “Queen,” it has been shared that this track is about “a miserable Queen that loses her powers to a pawn, by the fact that the pawn is the most underrated player in chess.”
If you’re looking for an artist that can share a certain storyline with their tracks, then Frederik Hansen is your go-to artist. “Queen” seems like a real promise as the track is able to offer listeners a story that they are able to hear through the words that have been sung, giving the audience an opportunity to hear lyrics that are, in many ways, powerful. While the performance quality was high throughout, this track was strong and well-shaped overall both instrumentally and vocally as Frederick is able to continue to share his wonderful talent with the rest of the world.
