For many years, alternative rock has become mainstream to audiences that are bound to listen to this rockin’ genre, regardless of age. From the tune of it all to lyrics that provide a story, alternative rock is bound to continue to bring audiences together for what can be a great time, no matter where they might be. There are still musical talents out there, however, who let their lyrics and music do all of the talking for them. This applies to artists like Robin Kenny. Her release, “Harbinger,” is a track that provides lyrical content for all to hear.
The Ottowa-based songwriter is able to release an edgy piece with “Harbinger.” With instrumentation that is able to give off a vibe that gives the Alternative/Indie genre a great continued name, this piece could reach audiences who are bound to get a wonderful listen out of it.
Kenny’s keytarist playing matches rather well with hints of the drums throughout in a regular track that would pair with a scene from a music video that one person can act out or even from a TV show, whether it’s on the television itself or on streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, or Paramount+.
Again, “Harbinger” is a track released by Kenny in February of 2022, and was able to come after her previous release, “Nothing Ever Feels Right,” which came out to audiences in 2021. Those who are wanting to look for a new track or genre to listen to should check out Robin Kenny as she is able to tell possible stories through her music.
