Provo-based pop artist and songwriter, Carson Ferris, released his latest track called “Speed Limit” on March 3rd. This upbeat tune was able to follow the footsteps of the acoustic version of his January 2023 single titled “Drive Alone.”
Co-written and produced by artist and producer, Michael Van Wagoner, who also goes by Mykyl, “Speed Limit” was able to have a compelling introduction with an accompaniment that is not just exciting, but it is also atmospheric as well. With vocals from Carson himself that are strong, confident, and expressive, the sounds of the guitar and drums involved were able to make the track melodious, creating a sound that is rich and smooth. As the track continues to progress, Carson is able to give his intended audience a story that others might relate to or can relate to.
Speaking of “Speed Limit,” it has been shared that the single “is about looking at your life and trying to figure out how much is too much to give up for your dreams, managing stress and finding balance.”
If you’re looking for an artist who is all about chasing your dreams in order for them to become a reality, then Carson Ferris is your go-to artist. “Speed Limit” seems like a real promise as the track is able to provide lyrics that express the meaning of wanting to chase things that you want in life without having to give up on what it is that you are looking for when it comes to chasing those dreams without having stress getting in the way.
