Sometimes, we get caught up in the great memories from the past while overlooking the negative times that we may have endured. This message is depicted perfectly through CYAAN’s new hit ‘Paradise.’
CYAAN is an emerging artist based out of San Antonio, Texas. Previously apart of the band Across the Atlantic, his time with the band was cut short due to the onset of the pandemic. Making the decision to individually venture into the music industry, CYAAN decided to experiment with his musical persona to find his own voice. Taking inspiration from artists such as LANY, Lauv and Troye Sivan, CYAAN loves making what he’d describe as sad music that is offset by energetic pop beats.
While speaking on the experience of past relationships on the track ‘Paradise,’ CYAAN focuses on those amazing times that were once spent with someone who was extremely special. We all have that one person who could be described as the one who got away – the one who no matter what, we always look back on the relationship with them and wish that things could have turned out differently.
‘Paradise’ combines the use of deep, meaningful lyrics with an upbeat, enthusiastic pop beat/flow to combat the sadness of the song. This combination creates a rich listening experience unlike others. CYAAN produced this song so that his audience would have a song that would truly speak to them on greater level but would be one that they could also turn on to dance and let go to.
While pondering on the past with an ex-lover, CYAAN emulates a breathtaking funky yet bubbly pop aura on this track. Accustomed with an array of electric beats and rhythms that ensure its progression, ‘Paradise’ truly sounds like paradise itself!
